The background wasn't removed cleanly
Try a plain, even background: grey cloth or card works well, and a darker one for darker coins. Avoid patterned surfaces and strong shadows. See the photo tips.
The two sides are swapped
NumisPair expects the obverse first and the reverse second. On the phone, take the obverse when asked; you can retake either side before combining.
Where is my combined image?
On iPhone it's saved to the Photos app, and on Android to the Gallery. On the desktop it's saved next to your original photos.
On iPhone, combined images also go into a NumisPair album, when NumisPair has full Photos access (Settings > Apps > NumisPair > Photos). Pin the album in Photos to find it quickly: on iPhone under Pinned Collections, on a Mac in the sidebar. With iCloud Photos on, the album appears on your Mac too. With an SKU, you can also search Photos for it.
The app asks for permission to use the camera and photos
NumisPair needs the camera to photograph your coin and permission to add the result to your photo library. It doesn't read the rest of your photos. You can change these permissions any time in your phone's Settings.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens on your own phone or computer. See our privacy policy.
I bought the app and need to restore my purchase
On the phone, use Restore purchase on the upgrade screen, signed in with the same Apple or Google account you bought with. For Desktop and Pro, enter your license key again; if you've lost it, email us.
